Research

We are focusing on innovating green materials and advanced technologies to address emerging environmental concerns by lowering water treatment costs and improving operation practicality.

Currently, four research topics are conducted in the YeEnvLab

(1) synthesize environmentally responsive molecularly imprinted hydrogel (MIH) composites for enhanced selective removal of PFAS in water;

(2) nanozyme approach development for PFAS and other POPs degradation;

(3) identification and control of PFAS sources of air pollution;

(4) 3D printed filtering membrane with enhanced anti-biofuel for drinking water treatment.
