Ye Environmental Laboratory (YeEvnLab) is in the Chemistry Department at Lehman College, the City University of New York.

I am interested in the research about

(1) synthesizing environmentally responsive molecularly imprinted hydrogel (MIH) composites for enhanced selective removal of PFAS in water;

(2) nanozyme approaches development for PFAS and other POPs degradation;

(3) 3D printed filtering membrane with enhanced anti-biofuel for drinking water treatment.

I have strong education and research experiences in functional nanocomposite material designing and enriched environmental application project experiences through my Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies. I am passionate about innovating green materials and advanced nanotechnologies to address emerging environmental concerns, like lowering water treatment costs and improving operation practicality. I am also committed to being an effective mentor and cultivating a diverse, inclusive, and supportive team for my laboratory.
